Honey & Black Mission Fig Popsicles

Fig-uratively speaking, these popsicles are to die for.

Gettin’ figgy wit it, na-na-na-na-na-na.

Just a fig-ment of your imagination.

Keeding. But for real doe, these are a healthy, delicious way to go about dessert. Sweet & thick coconut milk is whirled with fresh Black Mission figs and sticky raw honey.  Toss in a pinch of grated ginger and ground nutmeg for a slightly spicy inflammation-fighting and antioxidant kick. Freeze. Eat when sad. Or when hot. Or just like, for breakfast. Repeat.

They’re also pretty to look at it, especially if you have real popsicle molds.  Mine cost $1 at Rite Aid because I be about that life. Notorious F.I.G. would have to agree…once ya pop the yum don’t stop.

Honey & Black Mission Fig Popsicles 

makes 4 small-ish popsicles

  • 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
  • 9-10 small Black Mission figs (can use another type of sweet fig)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2.5 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp groung nutmeg
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and whirl away.
  2. Pour mixture into popsicle molds and freeze for at least 4 hours.
